Trying to Save an Email Attachment to One Drive

Hello,

Thank in advance for any help.

I am working with a template that is trying to save a ppt attachment from an email to one drive.

Something does save but i does not have a ppt extension and when I try to open the attachment its a bunch of code. What am i doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

TS

Re: Trying to Save an Email Attachment to One Drive

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you mean the following template?

Save Office 365 email attachments to OneDrive for Business

I tested and it works from my side:

Things you need to make sure:

1. PPT size should not be so large, as the file attached in Email should have a file limitaiton.

2. Make sure the PPT file is named correctly, with a PPT or PPTX file extension

Hi there,

If you rename the file so it has a ppt extension can you then open it?

On your flow you might see a encoding type/content type in the headers of the attachment data or when it is saved.

If this is not right you will need to add another step or adjustment to make it a usable file after being transferred using http.

Re: Trying to Save an Email Attachment to One Drive

@DionGoile, I have an issue where I am retrieving a pdf file from an HTTP connector.  When it is returned, the header is using Transfer-Encoding:Chunked instead of Content-Length.  Do you happen to know what additonal step I would need in my flow to make my pdf usable as you mention?
