Update SQL table with SharePoint Data

I have created a SharePoint List and then imported the data into a SQL table. I'm trying to use the "When an existing item is modified, update a SQL row" flow, but I do not have a complement value in my SharePoint list for the Row ID in SQL. The ID field in SQL would match the ID field in the SharePoint List. Any idea on what value should be the Row ID should be? My ID field has value starting at 176,177,178 etc. while Row ID in the SQL table starts with 1,2,3, etc.

Re: Update SQL table with SharePoint Data

Hi @Anonymous,

In principle, there is a need for a column similar to primary key in both SQL Table and the List to make each row correspond to each item.

But it seems that you don't have such a column here, ID and Row ID should be able to play such a role, but from your description they don't seem to matter.

If your situation is exactly 176 corresponds to 1,177 corresponds to 2, and so on, you could consider using the add() function, subtracting 175 from the ID, and then configuring it in the Update row.

It is worth noting that “When an existing item is modified” is actually “When an item is created or modified”. If an item is created, it seems that the matching Row iD in the SQL table cannot be found.

So if it is possible, the best way is to create a column similar to primary key in the list and SQL Table, in order to really solve the problem.

Best Regards,

Barry
