Update a teams meeting from a form submission

I am hosting an event in Teams.  I want to create the event, and then send a form to prospective attendees and have them added, upon approval, to that existing event.  I cannot pull the preexisting event into a flow so that I just add the user to it.  Please help

Hi @JaguarMonkey

You need to obtain your live event ID first off which you can do with get events action and a filter on the subject.  Then you need to get the event.  Finally you can use the update event action and make sure you include the subject, start and end times and timezone from the get event step and then for the required attendees add your new email to the existing required attendees dynamic value (or otherwise you simply overwrite the attendee list with the new email).

You might also want to prevent concurrent runs (settings of the trigger - concurrency control).  It's highly unlikely to occur but if two new users were approved at exactly the same time (I mean really unlikely but technically possible), you would potentially loose one of them as the get items wouldn't know about either attendee.
