Hi all,
I have a list where there are a bunch of yes/no choice columns. If the value = No, I would like the corresponding reason column to display some text.
Do I need to create a condition step for each column or is there a way to do this in bulk, like a large IF then else statement.
I was going to use a calculated column in my list, but that won't allow the users to actually edit it when they need to, and I can't put an IF statement into the default value of the column.
So I am turning to my new friend FLOW 🙂
TIA,
Joe
Hi @jaylou,
Could you please share a bit more about your SharePoint list?
Thanks for your feedback, the only available solution I come up is creating a condition for each Yes/No choice column currently. I afraid that there is no way to do this in bulk within Microsoft Flow currently.
If you would like the Bulk update action to be added in Microsoft Flow, please consider take a try to submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

One of the major problem I see is also that if you create a flow when an item is modified by a user and you want to update a column based on the Yes/No choice, when the flow updates the column it will trigger an event that will trigger a flow and so on...
What we need (and it has been requested), is a way for flow to update a SP field without triggering a modified event (it is technically possible) ; this is not yet available.
Now you can still have a flow that update each item of your SP list based on the value of the yes/no. and this flow can be scheduled to run every x minutes or every day...
