Updating planner task

Is there a way a could use planner and outlook as a ticketing system i.e, update task based off sent and received emails in Outlook.

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

How do you want to update the task based on the sent and received emails in Outlook?

 

I assume that you want to update the task based on the subject of the received email in your Outlook mailbox and the details of Planner task that you want to update is in the Body of the received email.

 

You should firstly find the specific Planner task within your Planner plan based on the subject of the received email (Using Filter array action to find the specific task based on Subject of the received email), then extract the details of the Planner task that you want to update within the Body of your received email.

 

If you could provide more details about your scenario, we would provide a proper workaround for you.
