Uploading file to SharePoint, reading the file and then putting data from file into a SQL Server database

Hello,

My team and I are trying to accomplish having someone upload a document to SharePoint, through a power apps form. However once the user uploads the file, it gets through to SharePoint okay, but as soon as we are getting to the point in the flow where we want to 'List rows present in Table' it continues to give us this error. I always make sure that in our flow we have it looking for a Table1, as well as we for sure have a table in our excel document that is names Table1.. but it continues to say there is No table found with the name of a crazy combination of letters and numbers.

This flow was working without errors before we added in another column into our SharePoint list. We need help on figuring out how to fix this, or how to better accomplish this, please inform us of any information or places to find information to figure our issue out. Thanks! Attached is our error message and then a picture of the full flow. Thanks!

Hi @Emily_Pollard

Have you tried copying the flow action "list rows present in a table" and deleting the original? I had this error a number of weeks ago when using the excel connector.

Alternatively if you want to reach out to me privately I can try to assist and we can post the fix for others to use going forward? 🙂

@HUmarelO Yes, this flow is now a newly created flow, and it seems like it is working until it hits the last step, then it just spins and spins and never finishes/never adds anything to the database?

OK, so is the issue related to Excel or SQL?

Are you able to post an image of the failed flow stage please so we can see all the other actions working correctly?

Hi, It never actually failed, I had to cancel it because it just sat there and wasn't adding anything to the database, but also wasn't failing either..

Check the format of the values you are entering into the SQL database. If there is any validation on the format of each column you are pushing data to this will cause the flow to fail. Please let me know if this helps?
