Using Flow by Powerapps

Hi all,

I'm trying to use this Flow through Powerapps. Unfortunately I can not access the ID in my sharepoint list:

I want to put the ID like here:

111.PNG

Does anyone know why? And what is the meaning of "ask in powerapps"?

Thank you very much!

Re: Using Flow by Powerapps

Hi @Maorzd23,

Could you please share a full screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Could you please show a bit more about your error message?

I think the Item Id parameter that you passed from your PowersApp app is not valid, so you could not access the corresponding item in your SharePoint list. In addition, the "Ask in PowerApps" dynamic content determine which parameter you could pass from your PowerApps app to your flow. For example, if you type the "Ask in PowerApps" dynamic content within Id field of "Get item" action (which would be converted into Getitem_id automatically), you could pass the Item Id value from your PowerApps app.

I have made a test on my side and the flow works well. My flow's configuration as below:26.JPG

The flow works successfully as below:27.JPG

The configuration of My PowerApps app as below:28.JPG

Note: Within my screen, I add a Drop down control, which displays all item ids of my SharePoint list.

Please check if you have passed proper value from your PowerApps app. More details about starting a flow from an PowerApps app, please check the following article:

Best regards,

Kris

Re: Using Flow by Powerapps

Hi v-xida-msft,

I Have quite the same problem, with this "GetItem_Id" on PowerApp.
I try to to do the same as you but it did not work.

My aim is to:

- list all files of a Sharepoint list (done, quite easy with PowerApps)

- by a flow, send a unique specific file from his DetailScreen in PowerApps, with just one button and informations above; to be approve.

My flow is running very well when i drop manually an item in my sharepoint list, but I will have a lot of item in the future so make a list of item with PowerApps could be more adequate.
I joined 3 pictures of my PowerApps-Flows programs.

Thank you for your attention.
Regards.
Florian
