The time zone is off by 5 hours in my SharePoint environment. I know that this is a Microsoft thing. I verified that the time zone in my site is set to the correct time zone (CST). I have correctly set up the Convert Time Zone action. I also found some articles about using expressions to set the time zone. All that I get, but what I don't know how to do is actually use the converted time zone. When my approval emails go out, the time zone is wrong. I am writing back the date stamp to the list so that I can have an easily accessible audit trail, but the time stamp is still wrong. It's off by 5 hours (UTC vs CST).
How do I configure an approval task with the correct time zone so that it will be correct in my audit trail?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can not manage Approval Email time as this is triggered/Managed from Microsoft Server and Flow follows UTC time. You can do one thing. Capture time after Approval action and store that time in SharePoint column. This will then help you in audit.

if you are finding it 5 hours late then add 5 hours by using expression as-
Thank you @Hardesh15, but where in my Approval action does that go? I don't see where I can adjust the time for a specific action:

Ohhhhhh...gotcha. I can't manipulate the time at the approval level, I can only go back in and clean it up afterwards. Will do. Thank you.
