Wait for first one to approve with response "approve"

Dear community

I'd like to go through users (multiple selection) in a SharePoint list item and send each of them a push notification. They should be able to either say "yes" or "no". Something like "approve" or "reject" would work too.

When I'm starting an approval workflow, I either have the option "First to respond" or "Everyone must approve". However, I need something like "first one to approve". That means the approval (or other push notification, if there is anything else like that besides approval) should continue UNTIL the first person responds with "approve". As of now it only runs until someone replies either with decline or approve and stops after that.

Is it possible to do something like that?

Kind regards,

Hi @FabianAckeret

This would require an approval pattern which checks responses from each approver and then validate if even 1 Yes or Approve is returned

Hi @FabianAckeret ,

Please trying refer to the method mentioned in Serge Luca's blog.

Besides, the problem mentioned at the end of the article that does not have the ability to cancel the approval has been solved.

If you are a Flow maker, then you could cancel the approvals you sent.
