I already create a flow with trigger "When an item is created", and I am going to create second one with trigger "when an existing item is modified", unfortunately I can not find the trigger. Only found "when an item is created or modified". could you please advise?
Do you want to create another flow to check if the existing item is modified?
It is not necessary to create two flows to monitor the creation and changes of the item. You only need to use “When an item is created or modified” trigger to achieve your needs, if you use this trigger, the creation of new item or changes of existing item both could trigger the flow.
I also have this problem and it is really annoying as I am on a deadline. It's a simple question, where is the "when an existing item is modified" in Sharepoint trigger? There is a template that uses the trigger but it is connected to an SQL output, and in my case I want to simply send an email when an exisiting Item is modified in a SharePoint List.
The “When an Existing Item is Modified” trigger is removed from SharePoint connector, the new trigger is “When an item is created or modified”.
I saw a trigger that states "When an existing list item is modified, complete a custom action".
Unfortunately though, the logic doesn't seem to work when I used this as this is still triggered when a new item is "created" as well as an "existing" item is modified. It should just trigger a flow when an "existing" (i.e. a list item that has already been created") list item is edited and not when a "new" item is created nor a list item is "deleted".
Is there a trigger that just triggers a flow when an existing list item that was previously created is modified (again, just modified not deleted or moved)?
