Where does the notifications go?

I'm playing around with MS Flow, looking into how it might help me later on. So, I'm taking baby steps. I took one of the Flow templates, the one that gave the weather forecast for my current location, and created/added it to My Flows. I made sure that it would work with my Microsoft account and then I ran it. It ran successfully and sent a notification.

But, to where? I didn't get a notification on my phone, my email nor my Windows 10 desktop. So, it worked, but I've no idea where it went. I'm sure its just me, being very ignorant as to what goes on. So please if someone to just tell me where the notifications go, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

Re: Where does the notifications go?

Hi rfalanga,

Have you installed mobile app for Microsoft Flow?

Please see this blog for more details:
https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/mobile-ios-launch/

I assume that you are using the flow template “Get today's weather forecast for my current location”:
https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/b331bb10d27b11e6a4d6dd74e8f2382f/get-...

I test with this template on my side, when I click the button to run the flow, I will get a notification on my phone, as I have installed the mobile app for Flow on my phone.

You could consider to customize the template. There are two available options for Notifications, one will send you a mobile notification, another one will send you an email notification. If you haven’t installed mobile app, you could consider to use the action “send me an email notification”.

Please try it on your side. Hope it will work for you.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao

Re: Where does the notifications go?

Hi Mabel,

You are correct, I do have MIcrosoft Flow on my phone. However, I haven't run it in a while. I had to re-authenticate. Perhaps that's what the issue was? I just got into Microsoft Flow in my browser and ran it there, and this time it put it into Windows 10 Notifications on my desktop. Man Happy

So, looks like its working.
