Hi all,
I am using the add a row to a table in excel on-line utilizing a parameter to dynamically select the file that I want to update however I am getting this error: The parameter 'file' has an invalid value, when I compare the manually selected file path and what I am providing, they are the exact same. Is it not possible to use a parameter?

Hey @Anonymous
This is a known issue with the excel connector. You have to select the file through the browse folder action and actually naigate through the folders and select the file. Once the file is selected, you have to select the table from the drop down only.
Hope this Helps!

Can you post a screen shot of your Flow? That will make it much easier to assist.
Hi @Anonymous ,
We could only select an Excel file through File Browse in the "Add a row into a table" action in Microsoft flow currently, the dynamic content of File path is not supported in the File field in the "Add a row into a table" action currently.
Best regards,
Alice

This is not solved. They just pointed out that the functionality does not exist. Microsoft please re-consider your status and points crediting. This is a terrible user experience.
A fix for this would be magical, Microsoft. How about getting to work and actually solving a problem instead of calling out the obvious?
I agree... this is 'unbalanced' missing functionality.
It is possible to create a file using dynamic data (in a folder created by dynamic data) but, then, it is not possible to access this file.
This makes no sense; if a user (like me) wants to create a bespoke file for the workflow, then I should also be able to access it again. In my case, I want to create a file, then add data rows to it.
How can this be accelerated in terms of development by Microsoft?
