Did you type that in or select it from the dropdown of available options?

Hi @Perez ,

Did you select the 'Calendar id' from the drop-down list or custom value?

Please make sure the connection has access to that calendar.

Hi @v-zhos-msft , @SCTdan

thanks for your fast reply, im replaying you both here.

i typed it as a custom value as it is not recognized automatically by the flow.

it is  generic mailbox i have premission to, do you have a suggestion how to make it availble in the list?

thanks in advance.

Well, in Send Email, it'll just search your directory.  In Create Event, it'll only show what you have access to write to.  What kind of account is _Absence (regular user, shared mailbox, o365 group)?  And does the connection you're using have full access to that account?

@SCTdan ,  when looking in the calender property it says "folder containing calender item", and it is a generic mailbox used to capture absence events.

i can write events in this calender and have full premissions to it.

thanks

You'll want to use that user account for the connection on that step then.  You'll only see your calendars in the dropdown, and even if you enter the calendar ID (not name, full alphanumeric ID) of another users calendar you have permissions to, it won't work.

Hi @SCTdan ,

sorry, i didnt quite understand your replay in terms of what should i change in order to make it work,

and also didnt understand why this calender is not visible in the dropdown, since i have the required premissions.

can you please elaborate?

The dropdown will only show your user calendars, ie, the ones you have created.  It won't show shared calendars that you have access to.

So you'll want to create a new connection for that action, here-

Click ..., then Add New Connection.  Enter the creds of the absence user.  Now that action will run as the absence user, and will display that users calendars.

@SCTdan , thanks for your reply.

the thing is that this calander is just a mailbox on prem, without 365 license, is there another way to do it?

I've never done anything with on-prem, so I'm afraid I'm not of too much help here.  Hopefully someone else can chime in here, but I'll see if I can find anything that may help.
