change null to blank for choice values

Hello,

I have a Flow that Gets Items from a SharePoint List and then Selects the items so that it can be placed into a CSV table.

I receive the same type of error when there are blank and null fields within the Select Card, for example this kind of error:

…failed: 'The template language expression 'item()['TestDate']' cannot be evaluated because property 'TestDate' doesn't exist, available properties are '…

I have successfully addressed all of the fields except for Choice Fields.  Does anyone know the proper syntax for choice fields missing a value?

This is my Flow:

FlowFlow

SelectSelect

ExpressionsExpressions

The expressions I have tried for the choice field are:

if(equals(coalesce(item()?['Development_x0020_Team_x0020_1']['Value'],'NULL'),'NULL'),'',coalesce(item()?['Development_x0020_Team_x0020_1']['Value']))

If(equals(length(item()?['Development_x0020_Team_x0020_1']['Value']), 1), item()?['Development_x0020_Team_x0020_1']['Value'], '')

Thank you,

Joanna

Hi @Anonymous,

I have made a test on my side and have created a list with a choice type column TestDate as below:

Capture.PNG

You could refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

Capture.PNG

The expression of the TestDate in the Select actin as below:

if(empty(item()?['TestDate']?['Value']),null,item()?['TestDate']?['Value'])

The flow would run successfully as below:

Best regards,

Alice
