formatDateTime in Japanese calendar

Issue: How can I get the text by formatDateTime function in Japanese calendar?

using formatDateTime () function

ex: 平和1年1月1日, 令和1年5月1日

 

The new era name start at May 1, 2019 in Japan.

That is a language and I think rrelavant to a function.  Are you complicating this too much.  try fomatDateTime (utcNow(),"dd/MM/yyyy)  and see what you get.

formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'd/M/yyyy') is 10/4/2019

I assume on a pc in japanese  that would appear in japanese?  So would it now need to be

 

formatDateTime(your date field, ' MMM d  yyyy')

formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'MMM d yyyy') = Apr 11 2019
