Hi, everybody
I make flow to send e-mail with a picture in its body. Could u please tell me where should I save this image to make it visible for message receives?
I saved it in OneDirve (public acess), but e-mail receiver still doesn't see it in a message

Hi @SailorGirl,
I think here you mean to embed Image into Email Body?
We could take use of the following way to "Embed" the image data into Email Body:
Using the <img> Label in HTML, alos please make sure you have the Is HTML set to Yes in the Send an Email Action:
<img src="data:image/png;base64, iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAUA AAAFCAYAAACNbyblAAAAHElEQVQI12P4//8/w38GIAXDIBKE0DHxgljNBAAO 9TXL0Y4OHwAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==" alt="Red dot" />
Or you may try the URL:
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTf8peeAQ8Jbw4lowjdYM9OYVJFJr8EwgGNTsJ6BtbqPdNHWz2m"
alt="Testing" width="500" height="100">
Reference:
The testing result:
For the image from OneDrive, make sure the image is shared to everyone, then copy and paste the image URL with the double quotes of
scr="URL here "

Michael

hi Team,
When i save the image to a site assets sharepoint librray and use the link it does not display the image rather it shows and 'X' in email body.
Will it support images stored in sharepoint libaries or do we need to save them outside sharepoint?
Thanks,
Sru

Any help on this, i am also getting same output as above.
hi, @abd3127
I followeed abovementioned instructions and solved my problem. The final decision looks like:
Hi, some tried with a bigger image (like 50KB), i tried it, in the flow the 64basecode it's showing fine in the Body of the email:
But in the Inbox (where the email arrived) the image it's not shown, and inspecting the code of the email the 64basecode and the src attirbutte were removed:
Thanks in advance.
@Jeshagio Yes i also got the same problem while opening the mail in Outlook Desktop App.

I saved the images outside Sharepoint and used the link in Email Body and it works fine.
Thanks,
Sru

Hi everyone...so just to be completely clear on this...we're saying that you CANNOT embed an image into a Microsoft Flow Outlook E-mail message if the image you're trying to embed is hosted on Microsoft SharePoint / OneDrive / SiteAssets ?
Literally we are saying that you need to host your images somewhere OTHER than...you know...Microsoft sister environments that presumably are intended to work together? I just don't want it lost how nutty this is if this is where we are...
Hello, I have HTML set to true in the "Send and email notification" "Mail" trigger of my flow. This is not the Outlook action it is the Mail action (sends emails as microsoft@powerapps.com). I just wanted @v-micsh-msft to know that embedded images do not work with this connection type. Do you have a solution for this? or is it not possible?
Thanks
Hi @abd3127
Do you mind post your working html code here?
Where did you save the image? I referenced an internet image, still not working. Do they need to be on your local drive?
Cheers
Hello @Robin_NZ
I have used below HTML with the open source image url which works fine for me
<div style="position: absolute;left: 46%;top: 65px;" > <img src="https://static2.sharepointonline.com/files/fabric/assets/brand-icons/product/png/outlook_96x1.png" height="75" width="75"/> </div>
Thanks
So I am looking to use a dynamic image URL, Html that'd allow me to embed the user's profile image whom uploaded the file/s into the notifcation email. As the dynamic content button seems only to allow for a link "Save as" currently. Is this possible?
I've spent at least 5 hours today trying to figure this out. Is it still not possible to get a link via sharepoint/onedrive that will work for displaying pictures in the body of an email? Is there some other service someone can recommend where hopefully the link to each image will be the same except the filename? I've built an inventory app for my company in powerapps, and would really like to add this to the email and not as an attachment.
I was able to embed picture by replacing the src=" with src="https:\\mysharepointsite.sharepoint.som\sites\mysite in the body of the email.
This allows the embedded images to be seen in Outlook web email but it fails to show in Outlook client application. I am still looking for a solution to this. Our network admin says that because of multifactor authentication Outlook cannot verify the permissions for the source, whereas browsers can do so. Outlook has its "own browser" according to him.
@Anonymous are you running on a windows machine?
I was having similar issues where embedded images were showing in the web version of outlook but not the desktop client. Outlook ties its permissions to the Edge microsoft browser, which I had never used before. After logging in to my company's sharepoint site on Edge (essentially showing outlook that it had permission to link to the sharepoint images embedded in the email body) the embedded images started showing in my Outlook desktop client.
Worked for me, it could also work for you! Unfortunately, this solution is an individual one, and I don't have a company wide or large scale fix.
Hi @Anonymous, Your solution didnt work for me. I tried on my test machine (all my machines run on Windows 10). I logged in Edge to our company's SharePoint Online Site, but Outlook client is still behaving the same way. Did you change any other settings? Is your sharepoint site a trusted site?
