post message to Teamchat channel with incoming webhook (DONE) update said post with action stated in that post (HELP)

Hope someone can help me - or point me into the right direction.

Not sure this is in the correct forum - apologies if not.

Got console app that can connect to a team chat channel, and send a MessageCard with an ActionCard that has a list that has (Investigating/resolved)  I can click the one of the options and then click update (the button for it)  but it fails with bad request.   the target url I have as the main URL webhook that successfully posts the card in the first instance.. but to update it with selecting from a list and clicking a button fails.

Does an incoming webhook allow me to do that?

Just need something simple.
I picked up message cards literally last week, as wanted a way of alerting me / the group in team chat. by simply sending a message.. with the option to quickly update the message to say that USER is investigating the issue,  or USER has resolved the issue.

This is the code snippet.

""potentialAction"": [{
        ""@type"": ""ActionCard"",
        ""name"": ""Change status"",
        ""inputs"": [{
            ""@type"": ""MultichoiceInput"",
            ""id"": ""list"",
            ""title"": ""Select a status"",
            ""isMultiSelect"": ""false"",
            ""choices"": [{
                ""display"": ""Investigating"",
                ""value"": ""1""
            }, {
                ""display"": ""Resolved"",
                ""value"": ""2""
        ""actions"": [{
            ""@type"": ""HttpPost"",
            ""name"": ""Update"",
            ""target"": ""THE URL THAT WORKS AND POSTS  SO FAR."",
             ""body"" : ""{{list.value}}""
Also trying to find out how I get the users Name, Surame too so I can say "FRED BLOGS is investigating" etc etc.
I have double quotes as its part of a variable that im building which works..

Any help greatly appreciated. or even point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance 🙂 and if anything, thank you for taking the time to read this post.
