"Everyone from the assigned list" approval. how will it work if same assigned to person?

Hi,

I'm testing an approval flow I created recently.  

If the Area Manager and IT Approval assigned to is the same person, how many approval emails will be sent to the person? Will the person still need to approve twice for the approval to be approved?

I just tested this scenario and it only sent one email and I only had to approve once.
