"code": "ErrorSendAsDenied"

I made a flow (shared a flow with another user) in which it is sent an email using:

  • From (send by): User email

However, when that person runs the flow, we get the following error:

  • "code": "ErrorSendAsDenied"
  •   "originalMessage": "The user account which was used to submit this request does not have the right to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account., Cannot submit message."

How could I solve it?

Thanks for the support

@AnaLo you need to delegate permissions

Check this out :

Check steps in Assigning Permissions to User Mailboxes through Exchange Admin Center

The flow owner email ID should have permissions to send emails on behalf of shared mailbox.

Hope this helps.

Hi, I'm having a similar issue.

I've assigned myself as a delegate of the shared mailbox (I'm the office 365 global admin), however, I'm still seeing the same error when I run my (very simple) power apps flow.

You are not authorized to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account.
clientRequestId: 24c926c4-6fe2-4b4c-94f5-b9f66ce3a02a
serviceRequestId: fd562202-c87e-15e3-d4f2-4cfb5ece4428

Above is the error I see

Above is the delegates section of the shared mailbox, as you can see, I am a delegate.

Anyone got any ideas?
