Date Format Changing To American

Morning, 

I'm having some difficulty getting PowerAutomate to record dates as dd/mm/yyyy in an excel document. This was working fine end of last month when it was set up, so I guess works fine when it's a date that physically could not be in the American format of mm/dd/yyyy (e.g. 31/10/2022 since there is no 31st month) 

It looks like PVA is recording the date as the American format, which I knew:

So I've used compose and a datetimeformat for dd/MM/yyyy which also works correctly and even shows in the flow as recording correctly in the excel table... yet it hasn't?

Is anyone able to assist at all in having the date format show in Excel as dd/mm/yyyy as it's needed in that format for our uploader automation.

It looks like changing the format in Excel to 'Text' instead of 'Custom' has done the trick
