PVA for Teams Trial License

Hello! I have been learning a lot about PVA for Teams and it's licensing/ the trial license over the last few weeks. Here is once of the questions I had.

Is a trial license for PVA assigned to a user?

  • If so, then when you are creating a bot in Teams, how could you have a coworker collaborate on your bot in a way that they could also use the premium features unlocked by the trial license?
  • If so, can you create multiple bots in Teams and each would have access to premium features as long as you have a trial license assigned to you?

One last questions: can you transport topics from one bot in Teams to another bot in Teams?

Thanks as always and happy new year!

Hi @Canix17 ,

PVA for Teams is included with eligible Office license so any user with Office license is able to create bot in PVA in Teams app and used by end users in Microsoft Teams.

PVA trial is trial for PVA Premium (aka PVA standalone) that allows user to create bots for other channels such as Web, Facebook etc. The PVA Premium trial is a per-user license that only assigned users can build bots with premium capabilities. You can learn more on the difference between PVA Premium and PVA for Teams capability here:
