Save user responses like Google Forms

Hi there,

 

I wish to save user responses for multiple choice questions as one can do in Google Forms. 

I tried using Excel online (Onedrive) in PowerApps to call for an action and save the response. However, it's does not work.

oh @smehro  this is because when the flow runs it means one row so if you what to modify the same row but another column you need to use update row action. To do that you need to create an ID as identyfier of user to add into KeyColumn

Hi @smehro ,

 

Inside your Power Virtual Agents topic, it's right!

 

But inside the Power Automate, you create a card that is called "Create a table" (Excel connector). You need to fill all inputs that Power Automate show for you.

Below this card, you need to create a new card/action called "Create a row" (Excel connector) to connect with your table created above this new action. And inside the value of inputs, you can insert the Power Virtual Agents input.

Great! So it worked now! Thanks @renatoromao (see 2 responses in column 1)

 

However, Let's say I have 100 users for my survey and I wish to save their responses individually like Google Forms (see attached image, where one row represents one user and columns represent their responses.)

 

Is it possible to do this here?

hi @smehro  if you need to do this please create an excel file with a table and headers. Then you can can add the action add rown into a table.

Yes, you can create manually the headers inside your Excel file.

Hi @renatoromao @ChristianAbata 

It worked with manually creating the headers. However, the operation of adding a new row creates new rows. However,  I want the user_response in same row but different columns. So, for this I also tried the adding key column action, but it simply does not work. Can you identify my mistake?

I am attaching the screenshot for clarity. The screenshot I shared from Google Forms is what I wish for.
