There is a bot theme containing a start menu.
It is necessary that when the bot is opened, the user is immediately given this menu. I.e. this topic has started.
Is it possible to do this without specifying a trigger?
Hi @golenya_ap ,
Let me explain a little bit the two scenarios that we have:
You can customize the initial message/interaction using the documentation below:
1- PVA for Web
Automatically start a chatbot conversation - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Docs
2- PVA for Teams
You can modify the Greeting topic, and suggest a menu to the user using the Entities.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Thank you for your reply.
But to activate the greeting theme, it is still necessary for the user to write the phrase trigger in the chat.
Is it possible to somehow bypass the input of the trigger phrase?
The documentation that I sent above, it's showing the way to start automatically the conversation.
Maybe I don't understand you, maybe you don't understand me.
But to start a topic, you still need to enter a phrase. There is no autostart.
Or maybe I'm missing something?
Yes, there is. 😄
You can use the documentation below to autostart the conversation (Automatically start the conversation):
1- PVA for Web
Automatically start a chatbot conversation - Power Virtual Agents | Microsoft Docs
2- PVA for Teams
A known limitation within the PVA for Teams is that you start only once, after that, it's needed an entry from the user. But for the Web, we have no limitation there.
