ActionFailed after Approval Times out even is the time out is catched

I'm getting the above error in a Flow with the Approval action.

if the parent condition (control) or scope fails completely, no further action can be taken.

That's why there is a option run after: has timed out is suppose?

Solution should be:

  1. Fix the ActionFailed error that is forwarded to the parent Scope or Condition (control)
  2.  Update the Terminate action so we can choose if the entire flow should be Terminated of just the current Scope or Condition (control)

Re: ActionFailed after Approval Times out even is the time out is catched

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thanks for feedback.

It is a default behavior that once a previous failed, it won’t move on to the following actions.

About solution #2, it might be a good addition to Flow, please feel free post your request on Flow Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas

Further, I have figured out a workaround for this issue, please configure run after for each step so that flow can move on under different situations.

I have made a test likes below, which works as expected.

Best regards,

Mabel
