Approval timeout bug

I am seeing a bug with approval step timeout. The approval in the dashboard is active even after the approval step has timed out. When manager clicks approve or reject after the timeout, it shows a “succcessfully registered” message and does not give an error as written in the MS Documentation.


I also have cases where the approval is older than 30 days, but not cancelled and manager can approve without any errors. This is a bug. 


I am using create an approval V2 and wait for approval V2 actions in my flow.

I tried also with start and wait for approval action and get the same result.

@ScottShearer was able to reproduce this issue and advised me to report this as a bug. 

@melihubb also advised me to report this as a bug and so did Jon levesque.
