When a bookmark is added to Instapaper the trigger fires. Title and URL are ok but the description field is ""
The instapaper bookmark has all 3.
Did the developer test it before deploying?
It seems that you are trying to get description when a bookmark is added to Instapaper, while which returns blank.
I have made a test on my side and it is just working fine.
Add the trigger When a bookmark is added to a folder.
Then add three Compose actions for dynamic content Title, URL, Description separately.
When a bookmark is added to a folder, all the dynamic contents return value just likes below:
Please try again with it.
@v-yamao-msftthanks for answering my cry for help.
It is not working at all. The description is always empty string. See screenshot.
I have tried with other accounts, deleting and making new flows... nothing to do.
Title and URL are ok. Description is empty.
Hi @v-yamao-msft I found the reddit page you used and tried to add that in my test. It didn't work but I noticed that when I add that bookmark the description in instapaper is
"We had no idea when our father was coming home, and so my brother and I told ourselves that Dad was dead. He hadn’t left kindly, with hushed words and"
whereas in your screenshot the description is in fact the same as the title.
How come? Can you look at your instapaper post and see what the description is?
I tried adding loads of bookmarks from various sources, to different folders. The description is always invariably empty.
