Bug in Flow for Task Creation

i've used an existing template to create a Flow that creates a Planner task in Teams and then updates the task description with additional details. This works well except that if the task assignee touches the task between the time that the task is created and the description is populated the update of the description fails. This seems like a bug. Somehow the task needs to be looked temporarily until the description update step is complete. Is there an alternative approach that might allow for the task and description edit to take place at the same time so that this risk doesn't exist?g

Re: Bug in Flow for Task Creation

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you share a URL of the flow template you are using?

The issue you mentioned “if the task assignee touches the task between the time that the task is created and the description is populated the update of the description fails” could not be reproduced by me.

I have made a simple flow to create a Planner task first, then update the task descriptions. Once the task was created under a bucket, I opened it to wait for the flow to update task details. However, it ran succeed.

By the way, there is no action could be used to create the task and description at the same time, please feel free post your idea on Flow Ideas Forum at here if you need this feature:
