Cannot stop sharing an item !!!!

I'm facing the issue that cannot stop sharing an item on sharepoint list.

It always shows this error.

Noted: The user has 'edit' permission.

How can I fix this?

Hi @mmchx

Thank you for posting.

To grant access or stop sharing, you will need to be a list owner of that list or library. That means, in your flow for using stop sharing an item or a file action, you must connect to the list using a list owner user account. So you should ensure that the user is in the owners group to have Full Control permissions.

You can refer to the steps as below to add the user to owners group.

1.Open the list.

2.Select Settings  , and then select list settings.

3.On the Settings page, under Permissions and Management, select Permissions for this list.

4.Select Owners

Do a test, I am one of the owners of approvers list

It can be succeed after flow runs.

I see. Can I remove the particular user who has "full control" permission with power automate?

Hi @mmchx

Sorry, Power automate does not currently have support for removing the particular user who has "full control" permission.

Best Regards.
