Editing Schedule Tecurrence Parameters

Created a flow triggered by the schedule recurrence. Selected Week for frequency, added parameters for Time zone, Start time and On these days as shown. sr1.png

First issue, the preview is incomplete, it should have included when it started and the 13:00 in Central time zone.

After saving the flow and editing, then click sr2.png

Click Edit to change the schedule parameters, and the parameters do not auto-expand.

sr4.png

Checking the peek code the values are all there.

sr3.png

You must re-add the parameters so see/edit the values. Can this please auto-expand based on what was previously defined. Yes, there is a work around but, this is cumbewrsome andf certainly not obvious. Seems broken.

Thanks

Re: Editing Schedule Tecurrence Parameters

Hi @mcolbert ,

Thanks for feedback.

Do you want to include the Time zone and Start time info in Preview?

And do you want to auto expand what you’ve defined previously when you edit the flow?

Yes, Start time and Time zone info are not included in Preview, and we have to click the Show advanced options button to show what we’ve defined before.

I will help report this from my side.

If possible, please also raise it on the Flow Ideas Forum so that other customers who have the same request could vote your suggestions as well:

Best regards,

Mabel

Re: Editing Schedule Tecurrence Parameters

Hi @v-yamao-msft

Do you want to include the Time zone and Start time info in Preview?

Yes, I want to see any addtional parameters specified should be in the preview.

And do you want to auto expand what you’ve defined previously when you edit the flow?

Yes, if you added a parameter and populated a value previously, when you edit, the parameters should auto-expand, no dofferent than parameters for a SQL stored procedure flow step.

If possible, please also raise it on the Flow Ideas Forum so that other customers who have the same request could vote your suggestions as well:

Is there a way to promote an item on the forum to another category without having to re-enter it?

Thanks,

Michael

Hi @mcolbert ,

Thanks for clarification.

I am afraid you may need to copy required info from here to the Ideas forum.

Thanks for your understanding.

I will suggest other customers who have the same request to vote your idea as well.

Best regards,

Mabel
