Hi,
I'm currently using flow to generate VSTS bug from an Email. The workflow is working correctly however when I look at the bug logged in VSTS is it only capturing the Subject of the email. How can I capture the content of the email in the ticket.
Inside of Create new work item action I have added the following
Both Body and Subject are added from the outlook dynamic content. At the moment unless all of the description is included inside of the email subject then nothing is captured. Seems very limited if thats the case.
In the initial when an Email arrives action I have also specified to include attachments but nothing happens.
Any help with this would be appreciated,
thanks
Chris
Hi @Chriso2016,
Thanks for the feedback.
I tried to create the flow as you mentioned.
Actually the Description could be saved in VSTS.
Please take a look at the History tab when editing the work item created by Microsoft Flow.
You should be able to check the description there.
When creating Bug under VSTS, it will show Repro Steps and System info as available input, which currently can't be listed under the Create Item Action,
For the other kind of workitem, the description could be added successfully by the Create Item Action in Microsoft Flow.
I will collect this as a feedback.
For attachments, the create item action under Microsoft Flow didn't add this as a supported input. If you would like to add it under the Create item action, then please consider submit this as an idea in Microsoft Flow idea forum.

Hi @Chriso2016,
Would it be convenient for you to submit an idea regarding the Bug work items for VSTS create a new work item Action?
I got a response from the corresponding team tolding that they will investigate on this issue, and they suggest to create an idea for this under the Idea forum.
