Excel delete row timeouts - same flow worked fine a month ago

I have a flow recreating an excel table on my onedrive for business folder every night. To do so it starts with Excel/get row then apply for each - excel delete row. (simplest possible) After that, the creation of the table is follows.

The flow ran successfully every night until the 1st July, deleting the 100 rows each within 10-40 sec. And repopulating the table in order.

From July 2nd the deletion part fails. It manages to delete 10 rows out of the many, the others throw ""status"400, "message": "Unable to parse the specified Excel workbook within a sufficient time frame" after about 45sec each. Since the flow fails after the loop and restarted the next day, it slowly harvests the table within a week. awful.

The file is shared with only read access within the organisation (2 colleagues). Apply for each runs with default settings (serially).

I dont know what has changed in the backend. I tried adding delay before delete row oeration or playing with timeouts but no success - it  is pretty poorly documented.

Any suggestion?

g.

Interestingly the excel file existed. i could edit it manually. also doublechecked that the referenced table existed, still flow failed all the time.

how i solved it is the "restart misrosoft" way:

recreated the excel table with the same columns, relinked the flow actions to it. and now it is fine again.

Hi @katonage,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

How many rows does the excel table have when the flow run failed?

How large is your file size? I assume that it might be caused by the large file size.

I have made a test on my side with a small size excel table and don't have the issue that you mentioned.

Please take a try to working with a small sized Excel file to see if the issue still exists.

Best regards,

Alice
