Expression reports as invalid even when valid

I have noticed recently when adding an expression that is invalid, typically I've left off a parenthesis or something else, it gives me an error that the expression is invalid.   This is true at that time.  Now if I correct it and press OK it still gives an error that the expression is invalid.  If you copy the expression as written close that expression dialog and then open it again and paste, it will take the expression as valid.   I have noticed this happening in recent weeks in flow.

Re: Expression reports as invalid even when valid

Hi @Brian2M ,

Could you provide a specific example of Expression you mentioned?

I have not seen such a issue on my side.

First please make sure that the Expression you filled in meets the requirements, the type of parameters/rules.

Sometimes it's because of the lack of parentheses, or the use of wrong symbols.

In addition, please refer to the relevant link of WDL function and usage of Expression to check whether the Expression you have written is valid.

Re: Expression reports as invalid even when valid

Below you will see a deliberate expression that has a the missing m from the 'Send_an_HTTP_request_to_SharePoint_for_version_num' .  The system accepts it.   Now if you go to update the expression and add the m back in, hit the update button you will notice the system is not updating the expression.  You can see this as you hover over the expression on the set version variable.   I have had this happen several times, and does not seem isolated.

I am having the same issue.  My editor renders the page correctly.  Power Automate throws an "invalid expression" at me.
