This shortcut is wrong, it redirects to the owner

It's not wrong, the edit connection feature is on the same page with the edit owner. If you click the edit connection, it will negative to the Owner edit page. You can view the edit connection follow this picture:

Oh I see, what is misunderstanding is that you can manage owners here but not connections (you have to switch to another page again).
Not sure it's the best way in term of UX.

Because both owner and connection are configured before the Flow runs, the development team put them together to better manage the Flow's resources.
