Getting Customer dynamically to Create Case record from SharePoint

Hi All,

I am using Sharepoint List and Microsoft flow to create a Case record in CRM

Currently I have hard coded Customer field with known Guid. How can I get it dynamically or how to map SharePoint Customer to Flow Customer

Here is my existing screen shot.

Thanks in Advance

Re: Getting Customer dynamically to Create Case record from SharePoint

Hi @naren_vijaya ,

Thanks for your testing. Would you please use "Common data service" connector rather than Dynamics 365 connector?

Since the Dynamics 365 connector was deprecated a year ago, it would be related to this issue.

Please check the flow connection as "Common data service" connector and try again.

Re: Getting Customer dynamically to Create Case record from SharePoint

Hi @naren_vijaya ,

Would you please answer the following questions?

1. What is the triggering product and card in Power automate?

2. If the triggering product is SharePoint and when an Item created, does the SharePoint has Customer related information?

Suggestion

========

- If the SharePoint item has Customer related information, you can specify the Customer information with conditional cards such as If and Switch.

- Set the hard coded value based on the condition above

- Or add specific SharePoint field and contain (or Map) Account GUID

If the triggering point is Dynamics 365, it would be much easier to set a dynamic value on the Account ID. Please answer the questions above.

Best regards,

Jisung Han

Re: Getting Customer dynamically to Create Case record from SharePoint

Hi Jisung,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for late reply.

My triggering point is SharePoint, When a new item added to SharePoint list I am planning to create a case record.

I could able to add these steps.

Now trying to create new customer if the customer selected is not there in CRM and trying to user that.

I could able to manage to add following steps to create a customer and case record. But this newly created customer is not showing in newly created Case.

Can you please check what went wrong. Here are my steps :

Hi @naren_vijaya ,

Will you try to add the Contact to the following location instead of Customer?
