How to test for missing field from Azure DevOps query

Hi guys,

Hope you can help, as this probably a newbie question.

I have an Azure DevOps query to update a few work items in different DevOps instances and this is typical data that you get out of it:

The field Custom.OSbugID will then be used for another Azure DevOps query. It's possible that this custom field does not have any value and I'd like to account for that, but I don't seem to find a way to do it properly. When the field is empty on the ADO side, the field name simply does not appear in the resulting JSON (that's what you see in the above picture).

Any hints on how I should go about this?

Thanks!

António

Hi,

Yes, you're completely right, I'm just a little embarrassed, I guess I overthought this 😊.

The following check appears to work:
