Populate and Microsoft Word Template: Issues Loading Dynamic Fields

Hi all, firstly thank you for creating the Word connectors, they are great and I am getting some success with "Convert Word Doccument to PDF" but not with "Populate and Microsoft Word Template"

I have also watched this YouTube video by @JonL-MSFT & @Laskewitz so I am aware of the below.

  1. These connectors are stil in Preview (Preview, Production/Preview ... that kind of thing).
  2. These connectors should work better with OneDrive hence why I have used OD4B below in my example but I get the same experience in SharePoint too.
  3. John L mentions there are updates/bug fixes being rolled out that should enhance the performance of the connector.

You will see below Template.docx has the following "Rich Text Content Controls"Capture-241.png

My rich content won't load, so thought it best I share this information and would appreciate an update on any improvements that get rolled out.

Thanks, Alan

Re: Populate and Microsoft Word Template: Issues Loading Dynamic Fields

Hi @AlanPs1,

Rich text controls are currently causing some issues. Can you try and use the plain text controls and try again? If that fixes the problem we can assume the rich text controls aren't supported.

Thanks,

Daniel
