RSS Feed flow failing with "chatThread.RootMessage cannot be null"

I used the template to connect an RSS feed to a Team Channel. The RSS feed is from azure, .

When the poll discovered new content the following error was thrown
chatThread.RootMessage cannot be null. Parameter name: chatThread.RootMessage

The content of the feed was:

    "id": "service-fabric-sql-database-azure-iot-hub-hdinsight-and-sql-data-warehouse-west-central-us",
    "title": "Service Fabric, SQL Database, Azure IoT Hub, HDInsight and SQL Data Warehouse - West Central US",
    "primaryLink": "",
    "links": [
    "updatedOn": "0001-01-01 00:00:00Z",
    "publishDate": "2017-08-23 00:49:26Z",
    "summary": "An alert for SQL Database, SQL Data Warehouse, Service Fabric, HDInsight and Azure IoT Hub in West Central US is being investigated. More information will be provided as it is known.",
    "copyright": "",
    "categories": [
        "IoT Hub",
        "Service Fabric",
        "SQL Database",
        "SQL Data Warehouse",
        "West Central US"

I can see there is no chatThread, or RootMessage anywhere. Is Azure Status RSS feed not providing the correct data? Or do I need a different template?

Re: RSS Feed flow failing with "chatThread.RootMessage cannot be null"

I think that has to do with the teams connector not the content of the RSS feed.

Could you provide the flow URL of the browser for the run that failed with that error?  You can send it to me at jewelden at microsoft dot com.

Then I can look up what's going on in our logs.

In the meantime, I have created a Flow using the same RSS - > Teams template to see if I can reproduce the same issue with that feed.

I have the same problem from this feed.

Something may be causing a bug to not show body required.  You'll want to choose some dynamic items from the feed trigger for the teams post body.
