Salesforce - Missing fields

I have created a new Flow from Salesforce, which is running 'successfully' and returning results.

However, a number of fields from the SF table are not appearing in results data.

 

Why would fields (salesforce columns) be missing??

Hi @Richard_AU ,

 

Could you share the details of Flow configuration?

I'm not sure which actions are involved, so I'm not sure if this is a problem with the action itself.

As far as I know, if you configure Select Query in Salesforce-related actions, it may only display the fields you specify. The default is all.

 

Also, if the field is empty, it may not be displayed in Body. This is very common in SharePoint related actions.

Sorry, I don’t have environment  to test Salesforce on my side. These are some of my guesses based on Online doc.

 

Please do some testing on your side, make sure all fields are not empty, and don't configure Select Query, then check if this issue still occurs.

Thanks for your assistance,

 

Please see in the screenshot below, the optional field queries have all been left blank.

The lower mapping section recognises all the fields from the Salesforce instance. However, when a test (or live results) run, only a short list of fields are returned in the results. 

 

A number of fields which we are looking to map are not returned in results.

It is not that they are returning blank, the fields themselves are not even listed.

Have you tried clicking See more?

Here:

This seems to be often ignored, please try to click See more to display all Dynamic content.

Yes  - We have been able to locate all the dynamic content during the mapping process. The issue is that a number of these fields (which we have mapped) eg 'CMS Author' are not being returned when we run the flow/trigger.

 

the resulting data sets in the returned payload list 'null' for these fields

Have you checked the run history of When a record is created, and whether the corresponding field is null.

Yes - We can see within Salesforce there is data captured in these fields
