I have a flow that runs every morning and updates a list in sharepoint with the current date. However, whilst flow iterates through the list of rows to update, it seems to fail on one occasion and the error is saying that 'The response is not in a JSON format.'. However, the next day the flow would run successfully and the run history for that specific record shows that it was successfully updated.

Is this a know bug? Is there a current workaround on this other than attempting to run flow again?

Hello Jack,
I handled the same issue under your mentioned issue time. This is one known SPO Service Performance issue which started at May5th and fixed at May 11th via a killswitch that was applied to all of effected SPO environment.
You flow would run normally after May11th and please raise one service ticket if the issue still could be repro. Thanks.
