Unable to edit existing Flows

Hi all,

I seem to be having the same problem as others (cf here😞 I am unable to see/view or edit existing flows, although they are still running in the background (and occasionally erroring out).

They do not appear under "Flows". I only have one environment and it is the one that is selected. They do appear as recent events but clicking on the event does not bring up the corresponding flow either.

I am happy to delete and re-create flows if that's the solution, so how do i go about editing a "ghost" flow?

Many thanks for any help

Hi Mawalt,

Staff @TravisB said that it is a known issue that existed with some flows created early on in the project.

It seems that @TravisB can help delete the “ghost” flows. And seems that if you cannot see the “ghost” flows, you will not have a way to edit them.

Hope @TravisB can look into this issue.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao

@v-yamao-msft, you're correct - I've had a bunch of people contact me directly and I've been looking into these issues.

I should stress that orphaned flows are a truly rare thing - of all the people who I've investigated I've yet to find a single case of orphaned flows as we know them.

The real issue tends to be that the flows were created on a different account. Even if you don't think you have another account, you may. It used to be possible to create overlapping accounts associated with the same email as both AAD org accounts and as MSA's. So you might have a john@contoso.com aad account and a john@contoso.com MSA.

When logging in with such an account, there's an account disambiguation prompt that's easy to overlook.

If anyone thinks they're facing an issue with orphaned flows I'd encourage checking the above and if you're still unable to find your flows, opening a ticket through our support channels. Our support staff will definitely be able to assist in locating such flows accross environments, accounts, and if there is in fact an orphaned flow the case will make its way to the dev team for resolution.

Best,

Travis

Well, actually I do know what account I use and what environment. Which is why I posted the relevant information above.
