I am currently using WinAutomation to do daily tasks and my processes are scheduled to run on its own.
Within these processes there are actions to manipulate local Excel files.
However, after running for a couple times it gets stuck on a "Launch Excel" action.
When I say “stuck” I mean the process doesn't fail but stays at that action until I stop it by manual.
The reason this happens is because somehow the previous Microsoft Excel task is still running in background, despite every process has the "Close Excel" action in place.
Which makes Excel give a popup widow saying "Opened in another application".
I was able to prevent the RPA from stopping by starting each process with a function that kills the Microsoft Excel task.
However, I don't think I should have to start every process from killing a task from the previous process.
So, if someone has had a similar problem I would love some information.
Thank you very much.
