first save of newly created FLOW triggers RUN, result is unwanted RUNS esp Recurrence, Mobile button

first save of newly created FLOW triggers a RUN. This results is unwanted RUNS.

especially affect are "Recurrence", "When Mobile button is pressed".

creating workaround (not to send emails to broad audience or not to update records) is cumbersome and easily avoidable.

Please fix with high priority.

example:

Saving this simple flow on Sunday morning at 7:53 AM for the first time resulted in the flow running once.

This is clearly unwanted - the flow should run per its definition on Monday morning

Here the Recurrence card

Hi @ErichH,

This is definitely a bug we're tracking on our end.

We don't have an eta for a fix yet, but there is a workaround. If in the recurrence card you set a start time for the time you'd like it to start running, the behavior should be as you'd expect it.

Best,

Travis

Hi @ErichH,

When first save of newly created flow with trigger "Recurrence" or "Manually trigger a flow" , the flow would be triggered run in microsoft flow currently.

If you don't want the flow with trigger "Recurrence" or "Manually trigger a flow" to be triggered run when first save of newly created flow,

I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.

If you would like flow with trigger "Recurrence" or "Manually trigger a flow" to be triggered run when first save of newly created flow to be removed in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

Best regards,

Alice

I am enterning the idea and am surprised that this is not considered a bug. Notabene as it is easy to fix - set all new flows created / first saved to status = inactive / disabled.
