"SP - create item" and "SP - get items > filter" connector bug - not using updated columns

Since making a flow using "sharepoint - create item," I changed (eliminated) a few columns in the sharepoint list.

I deleted then added a new "sharepoint - create" and set it up according to the new columns, but "Sharepoint - create item" still uses the old column names leading to a 400 error (the old ones are appear in the "inputs" box after a failed run) .

I observe a similar bug when applying a filter to a column name that I changed after originally creating the flow, even if I delete and re-create the "sharepoint - get items" with the new column names.

I am guessing this problem occurs to other sharepoint connector actions as well...

Re: "SP - create item" and "SP - get items > filter" connector bug - not usin

Hi @jgtokyo,

Do you want to use the new column names within "Create item" action of SharePoint connector after you changed (eliminated) a few columns in your SharePoint list?

The issue is confirmed on my side, if you changed (eliminated) a few columns in your SharePoint list and then delete the original "Create item" action, when you add a new "Create item" action, this action would still use the old column names.

Updating columns automatically is not supported in "Create item" action of SharePoint connector when you changed (eliminated) a few columns in your list within a single flow currently. If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

Currently, if you want to use the new column names within "Create item" action of SharePoint connector after you changed (eliminated) a few columns in your SharePoint list, you should re-create a new flow on your side and add a "Create item" action of SharePoint connector within the flow.

Best regards,

Kris
