Real world stories: Power Platform and Teams integration boosts field technician productivity at Telstra
Telstra is Australia's largest telecommunications company. Nathan Backers started as a technician in 2008 and over the years has adopted the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 to create bespoke solutions for their large mobile workforce. 70+ disparate processes and tasks are combined into a single Power Apps solutions with embedded Power BI dashboards and Power Automate flows running in the background. The app is accessed on tablets and from within Teams. Nathan is now also leading the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) initiative at Telstra.
