Then Click settings --> Select Security

Select Security Roles --> Click New And enter the Name of the Security Role

Provide Access like Below (Read/Append/Append to ) to GREEN COLOR(organization Level )

Hello @send2mark,

Can you please elaborate the issues. If you want to make the fields as Read only for Specific users with Specific table you can write a simple script to achieve the same.

If i get a better clarity i can suggest some other solution for the same.

I have a person that has access to parts of the table to display in Power bi. I want to provide Read access to the entire table so that it is a full report. So instead of a script for each line item, maybe there is something that will provide access for existing and new. If I can't achieve it this way, I might create a workflow to copy the line items somewhere else.

Hi send2mark,

I hope you are using DirectQuery connectivity mode from Power BI to access DataVerse tables. In that case giving user read only permission for the table will do the needful.
