Bulletins sample app cannot play video links from files in team?

I've installed the Bulletins app and it seems nice.

Video links from youtube work just fine, but if I I try to use a link from a teams file or a sharepoint file it won't play.  The field is 100 characters long, so I used tinyurl and that still did not work.

Is there some limitation?  I know the link works because I can paste them in the browser and it will work.

I think Stream URL works but Stream has been obsoleted.
How do we share video on one drive/sharepoint video file ?

Someone please give me a good idea.
