CDS 2.0 Lookup needs to show more fields

Hi! I created two entities in CDS that have a 1:N relationship with each other. I opened the child entity in Excel, but when I go to the lookup column, it only shows me two attributes of the parent entity: the GUID and the primary name. Is there any way I can pull the other fields of the parent entity in Excel or in CDS without making an app?

Thank you

Hello,

Have you try to display you parent table as another soucetable and merge your first table using the Guid as key ? (Using Left Join)

Sorry I’m a bit new to this... how do I do joins in CDS?

I have created a blog post and video that explain the relationships on the CDS and Lookup fields

https://abesaldana.com/powerapps-canvas-using-lookups-with-cds/

Let me know if that helps, also I have other blog post and videos related to that topic.

hope this helps!
