Hi guys
Thanks in advance, developing a internal database with PowerApps front end and want to know the limitations for sensitive data,
I have 8 salesman that I want to log sales into the system and read their own info but not be able to access everyone else’s,
So I will need
- 8 salesman with read and write permissions to said database
- these salesman to not be able to read or view everyone else’s data only their own.
- manager that can see all data, (I can do this with permissions through a second database with the app allowing to change filters if you have permission)

Any thoughts or is the download to excel option for all users going to put a stop on the project?

You may first take a look at the security level configuration under the Environment:

For the security model, for the Common Data Service, see:

For App part, to access everyones own data, you could consider take use of the User() function to filter the table by the created by field.

For Manager account, run a User() info check at the App start, then switch it into a different view, or consider remove the filter.
