Calculated Column Based on Value of Dropdown

Hi,

In my Dataverse I have two choice columns called "Impact" and "Urgency" which have values of "Low", "Medium", and "High". Based on what user select from these two columns I want to calculate the "Priority". "Priority" is also a choice column with the same values "Impact" and "Urgency" have.

Here is the matrix I'm using to calculate priority.

So, I have created another column called "Calculated Priority" and tried to set the formula to calculate priority (Action part of calculation), but I can't figure out how to do it. Here is an example of calculating "Low" priority:

Am I on the right path? Or should I have a different approach?

Thnx.

Hello @sdedic

Try changing the same to make it work easily,

Create a Choice Field (Calculated Priority with Values  as High, Medium, Low)

Create a Business Rule, and add the same condition and use SET VALUE to Calculated Priority and Set the Value

(Eg)

If( Impact equals "Low" and Urgency equals "Low")

then

Set Value to Calculated Priority to "Low"

Let me know if you need more help 🙂
