Cannot delete key in CDS custom entity

Hello, I am trying to delete a key in one of my custom entities but when I highlight the key the Delete Key link is greyed out.  Is there a dependency that I'm not aware of, or any other reason that I can't do this?

Hi @jbul ,

You can navigate to Classic View Solution - Common Data Service Default Solution - Entity - Your Custom Entity - Key to check the Dependencies of the Key. Then follow this article to remove the dependencies.

Hope this helps.

Sik

I just gave that a shot and it does not show any dependencies.  What's really strange is that the Delete Key button is greyed out.  If there is a dependency it will usually let you attempt a delete and then throw an error.

I can create another key and it will allow me to delete it.  But for some reason the delete is greyed out for the original key I created with the entity.

Hi @jbul ,

I have met such issue and I also can't reproduce it.

Does the Delete function(Red Cross) in classic view Solution work?

If this still doesn't work, please consider submitting a Support Ticket to Microsoft.

Hope this helps.
